BEGINNINGS: Happy New Year
Hi everyone!
I'm Carolina Trinker, a hybrid textile artist & designer.
Recently, I made the decision to take my work a step further and register my company Stitches Apart LLC.
Welcome to the newly-launched stitches apart website!
I have been spending lots of time putting my art studio together at the Cigar Factory in Astoria, Queens NY. It is already hard at work with all my crafting, and will soon open its doors for private machine knitting lessons.
On offer, I have:
- artworks & apparel for sale
- design consulting & services
- machine knitting lessons
- community workshops

I will post regularly about sts.apart exhibits, events, and collaborations. This February, look out for an incredible LD13 runway collaboration during Berlin Fashion Week and sts.apart participation at Ripple Creative's Hempstead Art Fair in Port Washington, Long Island.
